Generally speaking, solenoid valve used in pneumatic device is driven by coils to adjust some parameters and medium including direction, flow, speed and other parameters of the medium and so on. Solenoid valve part can combine with different circuits to get the results of relevant control, and solenoid valve control is flexible and precise. We know that the solenoid valve type is numerous, and each of type has different roles. What is the air directional valve? From a professional point, it is a kind of reversing valve, which is mainly used to realize the circulation of hydraulic flow, shut-off machine reversing and other operations, as well as pressure unloading, and sequential action control etc. Therefore, its use is still very extensive. Air directional control valve is driven by compressed air of the pneumatic system, which can be divided into single air control valve and double air control valve.
The solenoid valve power source is a coil and it only has two modes of open or close. Usually the response time of switch is short. The power source of air directional control valve is an on-off valve and a pressure controller. The principle of switching air directional control valve is that it relies on online resistor and additional air supply to get different flow balances of various parts of the system.
For solenoid valve components, the flow coefficient is small and the operating pressure is small as well. The power source is from an electromagnetic coil, and solenoid valve device is easy to be damaged by voltage surges. So, it has the role of switch of opening and closing. The working principle of the solenoid valve is that the solenoid valve has a closed cavity with through holes in different positions. Each hole is connected to a different pipe, and the middle of the cavity is a piston, and two electromagnets are on both sides, which side of the magnet coil is energized, the body will be attracted to this side. So, it is controlled by the movement of the valve body to open or close the different discharge holes, and the inlet hole is normally open. And then push the piston of the cylinder through the pressure. The piston drives the piston rod, and the piston rod drives the mechanical device. In this way, the mechanical movement is controlled by the current of the electromagnet. The air directional control valve uses gas pressure to move the main valve core and change the flow direction of the gas. And the trim of air directional control valve controls intake and exhaust by moving along axial direction of seat. The working force and maximum working pressure of air directional control valve are larger than that of solenoid valve tool.
