When the hydraulic buffer is subjected to collision pressure, the kinetic energy is transferred to the piston through the plug and the accelerating spring, causing it to move to the right. The original buffer working chamber is equipped with a return spring, ejector rod and oil. When the moving object hits the end of the piston rod, the piston moves to the right. When the oil passes through the annular orifice, the active cross-sectional area suddenly decreases and a vortex is formed. This vortex causes the particles in the liquid to pull and rub against each other, transforming the kinetic energy into heat and dissipating it, which consumes the kinetic energy of the cylinder and makes the cylinder stop slowly.
