Pneumatic solenoid valve is one of the most widely used solenoid valve types, and it is inevitable that some failures will occur if it is used for a long time. Of course, it is not a product quality problem, and sometimes it is a malfunction caused by improper use. In this article, we will discuss the common problems and solutions of pneumatic solenoid valves parts, and hope that it is helpful for people who are using it.
Common faults and solutions of pneumatic valves
We know that the application process of pneumatic solenoid valve tool is often accompanied by some failures. In order not to delay the normal operation of pneumatic valve, we need to solve the problem in time.
Problem1: Pneumatic valve can't move.
1. Check whether the solenoid valve component is normal, whether the solenoid valve coil is burned out, and whether the solenoid valve core is stuck by dirty stuff.
Solution: Replace the solenoid valve device, or replace the coil and clear the dirty stuff.
2. Check whether the single air supply of the pneumatic solenoid valve actuator is working properly, such as the blow-by of the pneumatic cylinder piston, the cylinder block and the end cover or the air leakage at the shaft etc. And disassemble the actuator to check whether the seal is damaged, and whether the surface of the cylinder bore is damaged.
Solution: Replace the damaged seal ring, or replace the cylinder or piston.
3. Check whether there are impurities in the valve to jam the ball core.
Solution: Remove impurities, or replace the damaged valve.
4. Inspect whether the handle of the manual operation actuator is in the manual position.
Solution: Move the handle to the pneumatic automatic position.
5. Inspect whether the pipeline is twisted and flattened.
Solution: correct or replace the pipeline.
6. Inspect whether the medium or ambient temperature is too low, which will cause the pipeline to freeze.
Solution: promptly remove condensate water and add water removal equipment.
Problem 2: The movement of the pneumatic valve is slow.
1. Check whether the air pressure is insufficient.
Solution: increase the pressure of the air source, and set up an air tank on the way to reduce pressure fluctuations.
2. Check whether its flow is not enough or other devices with high gas consumption are working at the same time.
Solution: add an air storage tank and add an air compressor to reduce pressure fluctuations.
3. Check whether pneumatic actuator torque is too small.
Solution: Increase actuator specifications.
4. Check whether the valve load is too large, the valve core or other valve parts are assembled too tightly and unreasonably.
Solution: repair again and adjust valve torque.
Problem 3: other faults
1. Check whether the valve action starts to jump and the load is too large.
Solution: Increase actuator specifications.
2. Check whether the valve bounces at the end of the action, and the action is too fast, and the inertial energy is too large.
Solution: add speed control valve or external buffer.
