Position sensing technology detects the position of the cylinder by installing inductive proximity switches or external electromechanical limit switches. But its significant drawback is that daily impact or contact will cause the external hardware to be misplaced or damaged. Accordingly, it becomes practical to connect the sensor or the magnetic drive switch directly to the cylinder.
The cylinder can usually only be held in two positions, extended and retracted. If the air ram cylinder is required to stop at an intermediate position during the movement, the pneumatic system is required to have a position control function. Because the gas is compressible and the pneumatic system cannot guarantee long-term air leakage, only the three-position five-way solenoid valve is used to control the position of the cylinder, and it is difficult to obtain high positioning accuracy. Where high positioning accuracy is required, methods such as mechanical auxiliary positioning, multi-position cylinders, brake cylinders or gas-liquid conversion cylinders can be used.
Using a single-rod double-stroke cylinder, it is composed of two single-rod double-acting cylinders with different strokes connected in series. When the valve positioning accuracy is high, methods such as mechanical auxiliary positioning, multi-position cylinders, brake cylinders or gas-liquid conversion units can be used.
Locking pneumatic cylinder can realize intermediate positioning control. After the cylinder is locked, both sides of the piston should be in a state of force balance. On the rodless side of the cylinder, a pressure reducing valve with a one-way valve is installed.
If the distance between the two magnetic switches a0 and a1 on the magnetic reed switch for pneumatic cylinder is changed, the detection stroke of the piston will change. The machine-controlled valve controls the continuous reciprocating circuit of the cylinder. If the distance between the two machine-controlled valves is changed, the telescopic stroke of the cylinder will also be changed.
Pneumatic position sensor can ensure high positioning accuracy. In order to reduce the gas consumption of the pneumatic sensor, a pressure reducing valve and a throttle valve can be set. Cylinder sensors are mainly divided into magnetic sensors, position sensors, etc. from the principle of induction, and magnetic sensors can be divided into mechanical and electronic types.
In addition to its core part of the Hall IC, the corresponding magnetic circuit design is another very important part of the automotive Hall sensor.
When a magnetic field is used as a carrier for the movement and position information of the object to be sensed, permanent magnets are generally used to generate the working magnetic field.
When the practical air cylinder descends until the vacuum chuck touches the heavy object, once the vacuum in the vacuum chuck reaches the set pressure of the vacuum pressure switch, the vacuum pressure switch action directs the two-position five-way valve to reset, and the suction cup sucks the heavy object and is lifted by the cylinder. During the lifting period, the vacuum generator is used to maintain the vacuum state. When the heavy object is transported to the designated position, the solenoid valve is de-energized, and the heavy object is separated from the suction cup.
The cylinder is equipped with a positioner, which can control the position of the cylinder accurately and stably. The cylinder is positioned at a position proportional to the signal pressure. You can also use an electric-pneumatic positioner to control the opening of the regulating valve, and to control the positioning of the cylinder and the swing cylinder.
